By using UK Pension Compass you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you must not use the application.

The projections produced by this application are for planning purposes only and do not constitute financial advice. You must not rely on them as the basis for any financial decision. You should seek independent financial advice from a suitably qualified adviser before making any decision about your pension, savings, investments or retirement.

About this service

UK Pension Compass is a personal retirement planning tool operated by Lee Moran ("we", "us", "our"). The application enables you to model retirement income scenarios based on inputs you provide.

The application is provided free of charge for personal, private, non-commercial use only. Use of the application is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use.

Content is not financial advice

Nothing in this application constitutes financial advice, investment advice, pension advice, or any other regulated advice within the meaning of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. UK Pension Compass is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

All projections, calculations, and outputs are estimates based on the inputs you provide and the assumptions built into the model. They are illustrative only. You must not:

Rely on any projection as a forecast of your actual retirement income or financial position
Make any financial decision — including when to retire, how to draw down your pension, or how to invest — solely or substantially on the basis of outputs from this application
Treat tax calculations as a substitute for professional tax advice

No warranties on accuracy or availability

We make no representation that projections or calculations are accurate, complete, current or suitable for any particular purpose. Specifically:

Projections are based on current UK tax rules (2025/26 tax year) and will not automatically update when rules change
Annuity rates shown are illustrative only; actual rates depend on your age, health, provider and market conditions at the time of purchase
Growth rate and inflation assumptions are user-specified estimates and are not guaranteed
Life expectancy inputs are planning assumptions only and do not reflect any medical assessment

We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times, free from errors, or free from interruption. We reserve the right to suspend, modify or withdraw the service at any time without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this application, including but not limited to:

Any financial loss, loss of pension income, or loss of opportunity arising from a decision made in reliance on projections or outputs from this application
Any loss arising from inaccuracy in tax calculations, growth projections, or annuity rate estimates
Any loss arising from service interruption, data loss, or inaccessibility of the application
Any indirect, consequential, incidental or special loss of any kind

Nothing in these Terms of Use excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.

This application is for use by persons aged 18 or over only. By using it, you confirm that you are aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect or process personal data from anyone under the age of 18.

Permitted and prohibited use

This application is provided for your personal, private, non-commercial use only. You must not:

Use the application for any commercial purpose or on behalf of any third party without our prior written consent
Reproduce, copy, distribute or resell any part of the application or its content
Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers or similar tools to access or extract data from the application
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the application or its infrastructure
Use the application for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable law

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms of Use or your use of the application.
